Color Blind is the 2nd single to be released from Blake’s upcoming debut release.
About I Color Blind I wrote this song in either 1989 or ’90. It was originally written on guitar with a real jazzy feel. It was a reflection of what I saw around me at the time and all the news from around the world about race and sexual orientation issues. I wrote it to try and open the eyes of those who do the bashing, to open the eyes of all races and creeds as it is not just one race or gender that causes cultural clashing. I speak from experience but if you want to know more about that then you better get to know me first!
And by ‘everything,’ I don’t mean material possessions, money or a big house.
My parents, David and Judith, celebrate their Golden Wedding Anniversary today. Fifty years of sticking together through thick and thin, through good times and bad. And they have everything that I consider to be the important stuff; huge hearts, gratitude, humbleness, a giving attitude, unconditional love for their family and friends and the wisdom to work through whatever life throws at them.
Holed up at home for the foreseeable future, we can’t celebrate this important milestone in the way we intended. But last autumn, we made a music video together. Unusual, I know! I don’t know many musicians who have done this but my song, Take me out in Your Old Bread Van, was written about their relationship.
When they were courting, many moons ago, my dad used to take my mum out in his old bread van, with a rocking chair for a passenger seat. It must have been a rocky ride for sure – but he knew how to show her a good time.
They also got married on April Fool’s day – before Midday. I love their complete lack of superstition. And it was certainly no prank as here we are, 50 years later, celebrating their love with a burst of color, love and lots of happiness.
I invite you to join with me today, in celebrating not only their lasting love but the love we can share with everyone who is precious to us at this time.
Who is special in your life? Write back and tell me something you love about them. Let’s fill our thoughts, conversations, and actions with L O V E today!
Much love and respect always, Elfin Bow xx

It is with great pleasure that PeacockSunrise Records (PSR) can finally announce the addition of US singer-songwriter-musician Blake to its family of musicians. Blake’s music is a breath of fresh air as it promises to offer up something special both musically and artistically.
Blake debuts the first single The Downfall from his upcoming debut release which is due to hit the streets later this year.
Blake is not new to the music scene, has a long successful history in music with a wide range of influences spanning all genres. His favorite styles of music are those that showcase drive and talent. Writing in styles from folk to classic prog, hard rock/heavy metal to post-punk and new wave, Blake will take you on a journey beyond the imagination.
“I am looking forward to coming back and releasing something on my own again. No constraints, no drama just me, myself and I with fingers on keys and voice in the mic, oh, and sticks in the hand even though I am only hitting a Yamaha DD50. This album “Living Futures Past”, which is still a working title, will feature songs I had written many ages ago with a modern touch but still sounding very retro. Some of the songs and lyrics on this album were written in the ’80s, yes the ’80s. I am making an album that should have been made 30 plus years ago when I was trying to be a rock star instead of just being me. Who knows where I would have ended up had I made better decisions!” Blake
We look forward to working with this talented artist, Blake creates music from his heart and soul, music that is honest and fun, music that makes us feel good. Nick Katona President of PeacockSunrise Records
Last night I made an official start to the process that will be my next album…recording guide tracks at The Music Mine Studios, with Peter Footitt.
To do something properly takes an immense amount of thought, planning, time and attention to detail. Over the last year, I have carefully crafted new songs for you – which will develop even more as I go through the production process – testing them out live with different musicians and in a wide variety of settings.
My aim this year is to make bold creative choices and to really step into who I want to be as an artist. This is what I love doing THE most in the world, and I assure you I will be doing everything I can to give you my best work yet.
Soon I will be revealing ways that you can come along for the ride. For now, though, I just want to say that I know you’ve got my back…your endless support, love, and encouragement means the world to me. Xxx
The new single from the upcoming debut album “Bullet Train” due for release in mid-2020.
So here’s the deal, the band has about 16 or more tracks in the can, but only 10 to 12 tracks will fit on the LP/Vinyl release, so the band is digitally releasing one new track at a time per week while the previous song becomes a ghost track, this will continue until ALL the possible album tracks have been released.
This has never been done before and this means you will want to purchase each new track as they are released or you may miss out, not all the tracks will end up on the album, only the ones that are most popular by spins and sales or band favorites, this means anyone that has purchased all the tracks will have their own personal bonus tracks, this means each fan’s album will be unique.
*Note: Each song features many different guest musicians to create something special and unique.
We hope you will join us in the celebration of the upcoming new release Bullet Train by Joe Mac’s American Garage
