We are thrilled to announce that Bullet Train is the Title of Joe Mac’s American Garage debut album due for release in 2020. We thought long and hard on how we can make this a very special release. So here’s the deal, the band has about 16 or more tracks in the can, and only 10 to 12 tracks will surface on the physical release.
What makes this release completely different than any other release we have done or anyone else for that matter?
Bullet Train will be released digitally one track at a time, and only one song per week till all the tracks have been released, these tracks will only be available on Bandcamp for this version of the release. Here is where it gets tricky, we are doing something that has never been done before.
Wewill be releasinga new track each week from Bullet Train, and each new track will replace the previously released track from the week before. This will be done until all the possible album tracks have been released.
This means you will want to purchase each new track as they are released or you may miss out, not all the tracks will end up on the album, only the ones that are most popular by spins and sales or band favorites, this means anyone that has purchased all the tracks will have their own personal bonus tracks, this means each fan’s album will be unique.

It is with great pleasure that today September 15th, 2019 we release our first recording “Nowhere Wolf” by Austin, Texas psychedelic rockers Sheverb. “Nowhere Wolf” is the b-side and the first of two tracks from their upcoming 7″ record due out September 29th, 2019.
PeacockSunrise Records (PSR) is a new chapter and an offshoot label of Melodic Revolution Records. PSR was launched on December 5, 2018; born out of the necessity to explore and release music from new territories, styles, and cultures from around the globe.

On September 29, 2019, Sheverb will release two new cinematic, surf-infused, peyote-fueled tunes on a Collectible 7” Vinyl with PeacockSunrise Records. The official release will take place at Antone’s Record Shop located at 2928 Guadalupe St #101, Austin, TX 78705 from 3-4 PM.
The A-side track, Puttamulettonit is a hard-rocking original tune that will throw you back to the days of sock hops and dancing on the beach at the Rendezvous Ballroom. This tune will be released digitally on all major streaming platforms on September 29, 2019.
The B-side, Nowhere Wolf, is our reverb-soaked version of an old Frantics tune, Werewolf, originally released in 1960. Nowhere Wolf will be released digitally on all major streaming platforms on September 15, 2019. The record art will feature the painting Julia Dean from artist Felice House’sRe●Western series. In this portrait series, House replaced the men of iconic Western films with women. She intentionally inverted the gender roles of the male-dominated genre, empowering those previously portrayed as powerless.
House’s work is a visual analog to Sheverb’s music. Armed with their instruments, Sheverb is out to challenge the idea of the romanticized Wild West. They represent an alternative to a Manifest Destiny-Esque worldview, honoring coexistence over conquest, collaboration over domination.
Both songs were recorded and mixed at Ice Cream Factory with audio engineer Matt Parmenter and mastered at Audiomatic Lacquer Mastering.
Sheverb has launched a Kickstarter campaign for a newly recorded & mixed 2 tracks of cinematic, surf-infused, peyote-fueled tunes. Now the band is reaching out to their fans for help in pressing their 1st 7″ vinyl.

We’ve already financed the recording, mixing, and mastering. The total price tag for the remaining production costs comes to $1,812. We are throwing in $812 from our band fund and need your help to come up with the remaining $1,000.
These gals are ready for a van! Since the release of our debut album, we’ve traveled over 7,000 miles with our music on two successful tours of the Southwest. We booked, promoted and managed these tours ourselves, and have been committed to connecting with guerilla art scenes and intentional communities along the way. When we bring our show to places like Slab City, Arcosanti, Bombay Beach and Burning Man, we are delivering more than our music; we’re also bringing a message. The late night conversations around sculpture gardens and bonfires explore the concepts woven into our Wild West mythology, such as rugged individualism, Manifest Destiny, and colonization. Light is shed on the modern day implications of this cultural identity, and seeds for positive change are planted. We want to continue traveling with these messages, and the van is the missing key. Every dollar we earn in this campaign past $1,000 goes directly to purchasing Sheverb’s van!
The Band
Born on a high desert wind, Sheverb is an all-Ladies, collectively run, psychedelic desert rock band based in Austin, TX. The core of this collective consists of Betty Benedeadly, Xina Ocasio, Fernande Rojas, and Lainey Smith, who bring together the guitar twang of spaghetti westerns, the driving rhythms of krautrock and the confident swagger of blues.

Sheverb’s music transports us to another time and place when surf music and spaghetti westerns ruled the airwaves. It reminds us of Tarantino soundtracks, drawing their influences from such greats as the legendary Dick Dale and The Ventures.
About Sheverb Born on a high desert wind, Sheverb is an all-Ladies, collectively run, psychedelic desert rock band based in Austin, TX. Armed with their instruments, the Ladies of Reverb are out to challenge our understanding of the romanticized old west, a masculine mythology permeating our contemporary society. The core of this group consists of a collective of femmes who converged in July 2017. The band brings together the guitar twang of spaghetti westerns, the driving rhythms of krautrock and the confident swagger of blues. In the past year, Sheverb has crowdfunded their first album, Chapter One finished two successful tours of the Southwest and created a “smoldering sound [that] matches Texas heat in a big way” (The Austinot).

On The Outside is a song about fitting in, when you always feel just outside the conversation, like looking in the window from the outside… or not being able to contribute to the conversation. Knowing all the while that your heart is aflame with emotions that you are unable to share because of the feeling that you don’t feel welcome to express.

JoeMac’s American Garage – Slow Motion
Joe Mac’s American Garage is one of a few projects by Legendary bassist Joe Macre.
According toJoe… The song “Slow Motion” was actually written during Crack the Skys pre-production for the Safety in numbers album by Shep Tullier. I still have a demo of that session. I always liked the song and called Shep and asked if I could change some things for current projects.
My friend from Pittsburgh Pete Hewlett, (Billy Joel, Carly Simon) sang it. David Kowalski played lead guitar and Joe Macre played Bass/Drums, keys, acoustic and electric guitars. It was recorded and mixed at Cuppajoe studios.
The Sun King Reborn – Love Turns Grey
John Blangero is multi-instrumentalist and founder of The Sun King Reborn.
The
version of Love Turns Grey by The Sun King Reborn that is being
released on the sampler CD is the demo track for the song, which will
appear in a full-blown production version on the upcoming Delta Tales
album to be released on PeacockSunrise Records.
The song is
written by John Blangero. On this version, besides supplying his unique
vocals, John plays all of the instruments and is responsible for the
drum programming (which he generally does not like to do!).
It
was recorded at Reborn Studio using a mix of analog and digital
recording equipment including John’s go-to gold vocal chain of a Lauten
Audio Oceanus microphone into a Pendulum Audio preamplifier and a Summit
Audio TLA-100A compressor.
Love
Turns Grey is another of John’s semi-autobiographical tales with a
distinct Leon Russell/Dr. John vibe and a horn section that provides so
much of the juke joint atmosphere.
This is a song that John loves to sing live, so count on hearing it at future gigs by The Sun King Reborn.
